Maya Markowski was a student of mine from 2011-2016 on multiple horses. It didn’t take long to see that Maya had all the ingredients to become an international grand prix rider. Now, 5 years later with the right support team and multiple great horses, the possibilities are endless for Maya. I found Maya to be a very dedicated, talented, compassionate and ambitious rider and trainer.  I consistently saw the sacrifice and commitment Maya made to reach her goals. These traits, among others make it exciting being a part of her  journey as it is very apparent that she has all that it takes and is willing to do the work to make it happen. During these 5 years Maya’s hard work paid off and we had some great times and much success together as Maya represented Canada multiple times on Nations Cup teams and competed in and won numerous CDI’s on self trained horses.  I look forward to seeing Maya compete in the biggest competitions in the world some day!!
